A chance to use the bowels of the giant building..... when I did the original scheme with RTKL we basically had a group of exhibition pavilions on a large raised platform overlooking the main space. The scale and drama would have worked well as the shot below shows. When I started working with Wilkinson Eyre we developed the distributed Gallery layout which was built. So, it was natural to put Earth low down in the building.
